All the Mods 10 (ATM10) is one of the most comprehensive Minecraft modpacks, containing hundreds of mods. It runs on NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21 and requires significant resources. This guide explains how to set up an ATM10 server.
Requirements
- A Minecraft server with at least 10 GB RAM (12 GB recommended)
- Java 21
- NeoForge as server software
Step 1: Download server files
- Go to the ATM10 page on CurseForge and download the Server Pack.
- Extract the downloaded archive on your computer.
Step 2: Upload files
- Connect via SFTP to your server (see SFTP guide).
- Upload all files from the server pack to the root directory of your server.
- This may take a while due to the size of the pack (several GB).
Step 3: Java and startup settings
- Go to the Startup tab in the game panel.
- Set the Java version to Java 21.
- Verify that the correct
.jarfile is set as the server jar (usually something likeforge-server.jaror similar). - Make sure your server has at least 10 GB RAM allocated.
Step 4: First startup
- Start the server. The first boot takes longer (5 to 15 minutes) as all mods are loaded.
- Check the console for error messages. Common causes of problems are insufficient RAM or the wrong Java version.
- Accept the
eula.txtby settingeula=trueif not done already.
Common issues
- OutOfMemoryError: your server needs more RAM. Upgrade your plan or remove unnecessary mods.
- Crash on startup: verify all mods are compatible with the same NeoForge and Minecraft version.
- Slow startup time: this is normal for large modpacks. Wait patiently until the console shows "Done".
Connecting players
Players need to install the ATM10 modpack via the CurseForge app or a launcher like Prism. The mod versions must exactly match those on the server.
Tip: at HostValues you can rent a powerful Minecraft server suitable for large modpacks.
