The yearly price is based on 10.2 months: pay yearly and you get 12 months for the price of 10.2, a saving of 15%. Traffic is a monthly fair-use guideline, not a hard cap.

Answers to the questions we get asked most about our KVM VPS services.
KVM stands for Kernel-based Virtual Machine. Your server runs as its own virtual machine with its own kernel, and the CPU, RAM and storage are reserved for you. Other customers on the same hardware cannot touch them, and you choose which operating system to run, including Windows Server. That makes KVM more stable and more secure than container virtualization such as OpenVZ or LXC.
Yes. In the control panel you pick from Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, Debian 12, AlmaLinux 9 and Windows Server 2022 and install a clean copy in a few clicks. All data on the VPS is wiped in the process, so take a backup first. If the system you need is not listed, get in touch with us.
Our VPS services are unmanaged: you decide what to keep and how often. We recommend backing up your data regularly and storing it outside the VPS, for example with rsync or restic to another server or object storage. If you would like us to think along about a backup setup, open a support ticket.
Yes. When your project grows, you move your plan up to more cores, RAM and storage. Your operating system, files and settings stay in place; only a short reboot is needed to activate the new resources. Downgrading to less storage is not possible without a reinstall, because a disk cannot be shrunk safely.
Yes. From the client panel you start, stop and reboot the VPS, install a different operating system, check CPU, memory and traffic usage and open an emergency console if you accidentally lock yourself out. For day-to-day management you simply use SSH or Remote Desktop.
All our VPS plans come with unlimited data traffic on a fair-use basis. We do not enforce a hard cap and we will not switch your server off during normal use. If you consistently use an extreme amount of traffic, we will contact you to find a plan that fits. That keeps the network fast for everyone.
