SFTP lets you upload and download large files, which is useful when the file manager in the panel is not enough. You need an SFTP client for this, for example FileZilla or WinSCP.
- Log in to the game panel with the details from your welcome email and open your server.
- Go to the Settings tab. Under SFTP Details you will find the address (host) and the port of the SFTP server.
- Open FileZilla or WinSCP and enter the address and the port. Note: use the SFTP protocol, not FTP.
- As the username, enter the value the panel shows in the SFTP details. It consists of your panel username and a short server code, separated by a dot.
- Use the password of your panel account as the password and click Connect.
Once connected, you will see the same files as in the Files tab of the panel. You can now drag files between your computer and the server.
Unable to connect? Check that you are using the correct port and that your password is right. If you change your panel password, the SFTP password changes along with it automatically. Still stuck? Open a support ticket.
