How many players can join my Satisfactory server?
Satisfactory supports up to 4 players in a single session. All our plans handle that comfortably; the difference is in how well the server keeps up as your factory grows larger.
How much RAM does my Satisfactory server need?
A fresh world with a small factory runs fine on 6 GB. As your factory expands with more machines, conveyor belts and vehicles, memory usage grows. For mid to late game factories, 8 GB is recommended. Megabases with thousands of machines benefit from 16 GB.
Can I upload my existing save?
Yes, you can upload your existing save file via SFTP. That way you continue building right where you left off. Make a backup on both sides first.
Is the server online 24/7?
Yes. Your server runs around the clock on dedicated hardware. Friends can log in and continue building whenever they want, even when your own PC is off.
Are backups made of my world?
Yes, automatic backups are enabled by default and you can restore one yourself through the game panel. If you want to go further back, you can add extra backup slots.
Can I upgrade later?
