How do I change the version of my Minecraft server?

At HostValues you decide which server software and Minecraft version your server runs. You manage this entirely through the game panel.

1. Log in to the game panel via the link in your welcome email.
2. Open your server and go to the Startup tab.
3. Under Server Jar or via the version selector, choose the software you want, for example Paper, Spigot, Vanilla or Forge.
4. Select the Minecraft version you want to run.
5. Restart the server using the Restart button in the Console tab.

Please note: always make a backup of your world before switching to a different version or server software. An older version often cannot load a newer world.
