From 9 October 2026 you can order domain names online in our shop at dash.hostvalues.net. Search for a name in the domain checker and use the button to go to the order page. There the shop checks live with the registrar whether the name is still available.
What does a domain name cost?
You pay per year, including VAT. A .nl domain costs €8.95 per year (as of 9 October 2026). The current price per extension is always shown in the domain checker. Registration and renewal cost the same; the price follows the purchase price.
How to order
- Search for your name in the domain checker and click the order button.
- The shop checks live whether the name is available and adds it to your cart.
- You check out in your account. At checkout you agree that we start right after your payment.
- Registration starts right after your payment and is usually done within a few minutes. Sometimes the registry first runs a check or sends a confirmation email, for example for .eu.
The domain name is registered in your name: you are the holder, with the details from your account. A mailbox is not included.
Linking it to your game server
In the client area you will find the Link to server tab next to your domain. It sets an A record, for example for play.yourname.com. There is no SRV record yet, so for Minecraft Java players type the port after the name, unless your server runs on port 25565. For other games, players enter the port as they are used to. In the DNS management you set A, AAAA, CNAME, MX and TXT records yourself.
Renewal and transfers
About 30 days before the expiry date you receive a renewal invoice; we only renew once it has been paid. Is your domain name registered somewhere else right now? You can also transfer it to us in the shop: choose transfer and enter the transfer code from your current provider. After the transfer the DNS is managed by us, so note down your own DNS records first.
Right of withdrawal
Your domain name is registered in your name right after payment, for 1 year. You give your consent for this at checkout, and your right of withdrawal ends as soon as the registration has been carried out. A registration period that has started cannot be cancelled early and is not refunded. If you do not want to renew, cancel the domain name or leave the renewal invoice unpaid: it then expires at the end of the period.
