How do I start my FiveM server?

A FiveM server requires a free license key from Cfx.re. After that, your server is online within minutes.

Step 1: request a license key

1. Go to keymaster.fivem.net and log in with your Cfx.re account.
2. Click New server and enter the IP address of your server. You will find it in the game panel at the top of the server page.
3. Copy the generated license key.

Step 2: configure the key

1. In the game panel, open the Startup tab.
2. Paste the key into the field for the FiveM license key.
3. Start the server from the Console tab.

Your server will then appear in the FiveM server list. Players can also connect directly with connect ip:port in the FiveM console.

Resources and frameworks

Upload your own resources through the Files tab or via SFTP to the resources folder, then enable them in server.cfg. Roleplay frameworks such as ESX or QBCore require a MySQL database; this is included with all FiveM plans.
