Getting started
After ordering your server, log into the management panel. The FiveM server is already installed. Open txAdmin in your browser to manage the server. On first launch, choose a template: QBCore, ESX Legacy or a blank template. QBCore is the most popular RP framework in 2026.
Adding resources
Resources are modules that add features: vehicles, jobs, interfaces, economy systems. To install a resource:
- Download the resource folder and place it in the
resourcesdirectory via SFTP. - Add
ensure resource_nameto yourserver.cfg. - Restart the server from txAdmin.
Server settings
The server.cfg file contains the main settings:
- sv_maxclients: maximum players (32, 64 or 128 depending on your plan).
- sv_hostname: the name shown in the server browser.
- sv_licenseKey: your FiveM license key (free from Cfx.re).
Performance
A FiveM server with 32 players and light scripts runs fine on 4 GB RAM. For 64 players with heavy scripts (full ESX/QBCore), plan for 8 GB. Monitor CPU usage in the panel and disable unused resources to keep things smooth.
