Palworld combines creature-collecting with survival and base-building. A dedicated server gives you full control over settings and keeps your world online 24/7.
Requirements
- RAM: minimum 8GB, 12 to 16GB recommended for more than 8 players
- Storage: 10GB+ (world grows with bases and Pals)
- Ports: 8211 UDP (game) must be open
Installation
- At HostValues select Palworld as game type when creating your server.
- The server is automatically installed via SteamCMD.
- Adjust settings in
PalWorldSettings.ini.
Key settings
- ServerPlayerMaxNum: maximum players (default 32)
- ExpRate and PalCaptureRate: adjust experience and capture speed
- DeathPenalty: what players lose on death
- bEnableInvaderEnemy: base raids on or off
- DayTimeSpeedRate and NightTimeSpeedRate: day/night cycle
Updates
Palworld receives regular updates with new Pals, areas and features. Always make a backup before updating. Major updates may contain save file changes that are not backwards compatible.
Performance
Palworld is memory-heavy, especially with many bases and Pals. Monitor memory usage and upgrade when the server starts stuttering.
