Backup Strategy for Your Game Server: What, When, and How

Backups are your insurance against data loss. Without them, you risk losing everything.

What to back up?

World data, configuration files, plugin/mod settings, and databases (MySQL for FiveM etc.).

Automatic backups every 6-12 hours is a good starting point. Take an extra manual backup before major changes.

In the panel under Backups: click "Create Backup". You can also set up automatic backups via Schedules.

Regularly download a backup locally via SFTP as extra insurance.
